Sir James Gunn was a Scottish knight and a member of the Templar Order, who was said to have partook in Henry Sinclair's expedition to the New World in 1398. The expedition is believed to have reached Nova Scotia and Massachusetts.
In the mid-18th century, the Colonial Templar Shay Cormac began a quest to find Gunn's armor and sword in North America, eventually recovering them from Fort de Sable.
