Hippokrates' Staff was a staff belonging to Hippokrates, a Greek physician who lived during the classical period.
During the Plague of Athens, Hippokrates gave the staff to the Spartan misthios Kassandra as a reward for helping him burn the bodies of the deceased infected by the plague.[1]
