Hermit's Dive on surface

Hermit's Dive was a cave in Octopus Bay in Messara, Greece. Built beneath Fisherman's Beacon, the cavern could be entered via the beacon, or an underwater cave.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place as it was the hideout of the Swordfish, a member of the Cult of Kosmos.[1] She also discovered finery featuring a Pegasos for the ship Adrestia within the cave.[2]
