Guidobaldo I da Montefeltro (1472 – 1508) was the Duke of Urbino from 1482 to 1502, succeeding his father Federico.
In 1502, Guidobaldo's supposed ally, Pope Alexander VI, requested a loan of his artillery, to which the Duke eagerly accepted, wishing to gain favor with the Pope. The loan was a ruse, however, as Urbino was left defenseless. The city was invaded by Alexander's son, Cesare Borgia, and Guidobaldo was deposed.
