Guardian of Forlì is a memory in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
Description
Ezio Auditore and Caterina escape the Vaticano district on horses. Once on the other side of the river, Ezio fights the guards who attempt to follow them, so Caterina can escape and arrive safely at the Tiber Island. After a long, and largely outnumbered battle, several explosions at the Castel Sant'Angelo, causing most of the guards to flee back to the Castel, allow Ezio to escape the area as the guards retreat to inspect the incident.
Dialogue
Ezio helps Caterina mount a horse before mounting one himself.
- Caterina: Hurry, Ezio.
- Ezio: Ride across the bridge. I will cover you.
They ride through crowds of Cardinals and Papal guards until they reach the edge of Pont Sant Angelo.
- Ezio: Go to Isola Tiberina (Tiber Island). Find Machiavelli there. He will be waiting for me.
- Caterina: What about you?
- Ezio: Someone has to stay here to distract the guards.
- Caterina: Get back in one piece, or I will never forgive myself.
Ezio dismounts his horse, and draws his weapon.
- Ezio: Go!
Caterina rides off to the Assassin's Guild to meet with the others. Ezio then turns to face the oncoming guards, who he fights for long enough so Caterina to escape, when suddenly there is a loud noise and explosion at the Castello.
- Guard: What was that? Quick! Back to the Castello!
Outcome
Ezio fights the guards long enough for Caterina to escape without being followed. Several explosions at the Castel Sant'Angelo allow Ezio to escape the area as the guards run back to investigate.
Trivia
- To achieve full synchronization, Ezio must perform a five-kill streak while fighting the guards.
