Alfred Fleming was the chief of Queen Victoria's secret service, a group which covertly guarded Her Majesty. In 1868, he participated in several special operations to protect the Queen and the people of London from a Templar terrorist faction, during which he was assisted by the Assassins Jacob and Evie Frye.
Biography
In 1868, Fleming met Jacob and Evie at the London docks and, after introducing himself, informed them of a Templar ship carrying explosives that would arrive shortly. He also revealed that he had placed his agents, who were disguised as civilians, around the area, and instructed the twins to use them to set up an ambush. With the help of Fleming's agents and their own Rooks members, the Assassins successfully eliminated the Templars and captured their leader. Fleming then had his men secure the explosives and took the Templar leader away to be interrogated.[1]
After several unsuccessful attempts to interrogate the Templar, Fleming called upon Jacob and Evie's help to extract information out of him. The Assassins beat up the Templar, who revealed that his accomplices had rigged a train with explosives, planning to detonate them and kill everyone aboard the train. While Fleming stayed to guard the Templar, the Frye twins left to foil the plot and were ultimately successful.[2]
Later, the Templar leader managed to escape and, alongside his remaining accomplices, infiltrated the Palace of Westminster, placing several bombers around the building and taking Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli hostage. Fleming traveled to the Palace and managed to identify the bombers before being met by Jacob and Evie, who had been sent by Queen Victoria to assist him. Ultimately, the Assassins were able to eliminate all the Templar bombers before confronting and killing the leader, saving Disraeli in the process. They then defused the hidden explosives that the Templars had planted around the Palace, ending the threat.[3]
