Georg von Frundsberg (24 September 1473 – 20 August 1528), was a South German knight and Landsknecte leader in the service of the Imperial Habsburg dynasty of the Holy Roman Empire.

He was considered to be Maximilian I's greatest knight, and unknowingly worked together with Ezio Auditore da Firenze's Italian Assassin recruits to train Swiss mercenaries to combat the forces of Rodrigo Borgia's Papal Guard.
