Garmr, or Garm, was a wolf in Norse mythology.
Mythology
Garm was the guardian of the gate to Helheim.[1]
Biography
In a letter to Týr from Freyja, she mentioned his wolf Garm getting loose in her garden, eating some unique plants that were not available elsewhere, and partially destroying the garden in the process. She threatened to kill the wolf if she found it anywhere near the garden again.[2]
