The Foteinos was a legendary bow paired with a set of armor inspired by and dedicated to Helios, the personification of the sun in Greek mythology. Radiant in its reds and golds, the limbs of the bow were adorned with the sharp-rayed likenesses of the god's face. Bearing this bow, it was believed, one could even succeed in hitting the sun with their arrows, like people of legends.
The bow was made available to the Spartan misthios Kassandra via an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relived her memories in 2018.[1]

| Many legends speak of those who shot arrows directly at the sun. With this bow in hand, those legends don't seem as far-fetched. | ||||
