Frederico first appeared during his brother Ezio's fight with another noble family. He has proven to be an excellent fighter and it is probable he also taught Ezio free running. He later taught Ezio how to steal money from defeated enemies. Federico is executed along with his father and his brother Petruccio at the beginning of the game, victim of a conspiracy.
