Fabien was a member of the Saint-Domingue Brotherhood of Assassins, active during the Haitian Revolution
Biography
In 1791, Fabien prevented a fellow Assassin, Elsie, from saving their fellow Assassin from execution, stating that the sacrifice of Dutty Boukman would ultimately help their cause.[1]
Behind the scenes
Fabien is a character created for the 2016 Free Comic Book Day issue of the comic series Assassin's Creed. The name, Fabian means "of the Fabius family", "bean" (from Latin faba) or "noble" (from Latin fabis). Fabien is its French variant.
