"Eveline Guerra is the terror of the seas, "redirecting" purloined treasures into Templar coffers."
Ubisoft description.[src]
Eveline Guerra

Eveline Guerra was a pirate who raided ships returning from treasure-hunting expeditions. Her tactics including waiting until the crew had returned, tired and weak, to be met by Eveline's band of loyal followers. As it was a very effective strategy, much of the loot she took was used to fund Templar operations.

In 2012, her genetic memories were used as an Animi Avatar by the Templar company Abstergo Industries, for the second stage of training for their Animus recruits, under the title of the Corsair.

Trivia

  • Eveline, a diminutive form favored by the English, the Dutch and the French of the name Avila, itself from Germanic element avi, the meaning of which is uncertain, but thought to be "desired." Guerra is a word for "war" in Portuguese, Spanish and Italian.
