Aikaterine was an Athenian woman who served as the muse of the actor Thespis.
In around 424 BCE, she was involved in Aristophanes' plot to tarnish the reputation of the Athenian general Kleon.
Later in around 422 BCE, she accompanied Thespis to Elis, assisting him in his play potraying King Leonidas I of Sparta and the Battle of Thermopylae.
