Crooked Island is an island and district that is part of the Bahamas. It is located in the Gibara region of the West Indies.

Almost the entire town is built on stilts, as was common at the time as a precaution against high tides and storm surge. The town itself is home to a harbormaster, a general store, and a tavern, named the "Crooked Island Cantina".

During the Golden Age of Piracy, Crooked Island was visited by pirates, notably the Assassin Edward Kenway, who recieved two assassination contracts from the coop located on the island.
