Fiora Cavazza, also known as the Courtesan, is a multiplayer character in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. She uses a bladed fan as her primary weapon. Her abilities include Smoke Bombs, the Power Charge, the Morph and the Hidden Gun. She differs from the courtesans seen in Assassin's Creed II, most notably by her different outfit and hairstyle. Ubisoft has stated that she will appear in the Single Player campaign, along with the other Multiplayer characters.
She is the subject of a chapter in Project Legacy where much of her back story is revealed. She began as a simple courtesan in the Rosa in Fiore brothel until a twist of fate led her into the employ of Cesare Borgia.
She served him for years and played an integral role in coordinating Cesare's allies in Rome. During her assignments she came in contact with all of the other multiplayer personas and interacted with them in different ways.
Eventually Fiora grew sick of her employer, especially after a visit from Malfatto, and decided to seek aid from the Brotherhood of Assassins.
Unique Moves
Flip a Coin, Flip a Courtesan
The Courtesan runs to her unaware target and flips over their back, clipping him/her with her fan. The confused victim then staggers back and forth, until the Courtesan promptly slices the target's neck with her weapon.
Trivia
- She is the second of the two known female assassination targets, the first being Maria Thorpe.
- With the Elite Gear she wears a facemask.
- In the first chapter of the Rome expansion of Project Legacy, the player completes missions from the Courtesan's point of view.
- Close to the end of the first chapter, it seems that Fiora Cavazza made a deal with the Assassins and helped them kill some of Cesare's agents. It is unknown if she became an Assassin later or if she went her own way.
