The Courtesan is a multiplayer character in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. She uses a fan as her primary weapon. Her abilities include Smoke Bombs, the Power Charge, the Morph and the Hidden Gun. She differs from the courtesans seen in Assassin's Creed II, most notably by her different outfit and hairstyle. Ubisoft has stated that she will appear in the Single Player campaign, along with the other Multiplayer characters.
