The Contender's Blade

The Contender's Blade was a commemorative sword given to all participants in the Battle of One Hundred Hands on the Greek island of Melos during the 5th century BCE.

The sword was obtained by the Spartan misthios Kassandra after she signed up for the Battle of One Hundred Hands during the Peloponnesian War.[1]
