The Conqueror's Breastplate, the green variant

The Conqueror's Breastplate was a breastplate which was a part of a set of armor in the 5th century BCE Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War, the highly decorative and imposing breastplate was a favorite among those who fashioned themselves after the legendary heroes of Greek mythology, like the strategos Aristaios.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Conqueror's Breastplate, a piece of armor in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, has two variants, the models of which are shared by a number of other similar pieces of armor in the same game, including Aristaios' Breastplate, Crafted Bear Fur Armor, Jordaneos' Breastplate, and Theseus' Breastplate. In addition, the legendary Jason's Golden Fleece shares the model, but is distinct in colorisation from the two variants of the Conqueror's Breastplate.
