The Coast of Russicada

The Coast of Russicada was a legendary sword which was once used to spill the blood a Numidian king and a Roman general.

The sword was made available to the Medjay Bayek of Siwa via an Animus modification by the Assassin Layla Hassan, who relived the former's memories.[1]

Description
This blade fed on the blood of both a Numidian king and a Roman general, and hungers for more.

Behind the scenes

The model of the Coast of Russicada, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins, was recycled as the model of the Curved Sword, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, and its kind.

Russicada, latinized from the Phoenician outpost 𐤓𐤔𐤊‬𐤃 (rškd meaning "Jug Cape"), is the name of a port city in Cirta, the capital city of the kingdom of Numidia. The sword's description is a reference to the first and last battles of the Jugurthine War both of which took place at Cirta and alludes to the execution of King Adherbal and the alleged, but ultimately false, slaying of the Roman consul General Gaius Marius in the respective battles.
