Santa Maria della Visitazione was a church in the Dorsoduro District of Venice. This church secretly housed the tomb of the Assassin Leonius.
History
The church was founded in the 1400s and was dedicated to St. Jerome, the patron saint of librarians and encyclopaedia writers, but then was rededicated to the Virgin's visit with Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist.
