The Cave of the Nymphs was a small cave located on the Greek island of Ithaka.
In Greek mythology, the cave served as a shelter for the Naiads, young nymphs who dwell in various water bodies. Odysseus, the legendary King of Ithaka, prayed in the cave upon his return from the Trojan War.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the cave during her time on the island.[1]
