Melos Temple

The Melos Temple was a temple dedicated to the god Zeus located near the cliffs of the Black Crescent region of Melos, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War, the temple was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Despite being said to be dedicated to Zeus, the temple houses a statue of Asklepios instead.
