The Compendium was a legendary shield which belonged to the Roman general Agrippa during the 1st century BCE. Adorned with a lion's roaring face painted in red on white background, the shield was both terrifying as well as useful.
In 47 BCE, the Medjay, Bayek of Siwa claimed the shield for himself after assassinating Agrippa in the Kyrenaika Roman Citadel.[1]
