Spartan Greaves

The Spartan Greaves were greaves originating from the Greek city-state of Sparta, where it was mainly worn by the hoplites to allow for great range of mobility during combat.

When the Peloponnesian War broke out, the greaves became available for sale by blacksmiths throughout the Greek world. The misthios Kassandra possibly obtained the greaves during her journey.[1]
