Heitor's Buskins

Heitor's Buskins were a pair of buskins which belonged to Heitor, a former mercenary from Kephallonia who had retired and became a blacksmith in Attika.

Around 431 BCE, Heitor gave the buskins to the misthios Kassandra as a reward, after she helped him rescue an old "friend" named Himilko and brought him to the beach to meet Heitor.[1]
