Decorated Thrakian Helmet

The Decorated Thrakian Helmet was a type of helmet said to have been blessed with the luck of the Thracians, a group of Indo-European tribes who inhabited eastern and southeastern Europe.

During the Peloponnesian War, the use of the helmet was brought to Greece, where it used and sold by blacksmiths throughout the Greek world. The Spartan misthios Kassandra obtained and wore the helmet during her travels.[1]
