Fort Boubastos was a Ptolemaic fortification located in Haueris Nome, Egypt.
In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa travelled to the fort, where he was assisted by a group of rebels to assassinate the commander that had been extorting from the farmers in the Faiyum Oasis located west of the nome.[1]
