The Khotan Bow was a hunter bow named for the Kingdom of Khotan, an ancient Iranian Buddhist kingdom along the Silk Road near the southeastern edge of modern day Xinjiang, China. It had an intricate look, though simple design and use.

Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relived Eivor Varinsdottir's memories, modified her Animus and included this bow as part of the shieldmaiden's arsenal.[1]
