The Last Resort was a tantō that Fujibayashi Naoe obtained in 1585. While working to remove Templar Kimura Yukari from her seat of power over the island of Awaji, Naoe and fellow Kakushiba ikki member Yasuke sought to eliminate Yukari's three taishō, including her spymaster Yasuhira.[1] During a meeting between Yasuhira and his spies at Izanagi Jingū, Naoe infiltrated the location and confronted the man, who attempted to kill her with the concealed tantō. However, Naoe dodged his attack and slit his throat with her Hidden Blade, killing Yasuhira instantly. Before leaving, Naoe she took the short blade with her.[2]
