The Barrière des Martyrs was a military post and barrier in northeastern Le Louvre, Paris.
History
In the late 1790s, the French Assassin Arno Dorian followed a clue about two thieves who required two of the Crown Jewels and waited for their accomplice at the barrier. However, Arno found the thieves and acquired the jewels back for the National Convention.[1]
