Pandora was the first human woman created by Hephaistos on the instructions of Zeus, according to Greek mythology. She came to be as each of the Twelve Gods gave her a unique gift.

Influence[edit | edit source]

In 5th century BCE, a region of Malis was named after Pandora as Pandora's Cove. Within the region was located Myson Cave, wherein laid Hephaistos' Workshop, and curious architecture.[1] During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra obtained a sword called Pandora's Kopis, which is claimed to be one of the gifts gods gave to Pandora.[2]
