The Sleipnir Shield was a light shield engraved with an image of Odin's eight-legged horse Sleipnir from Norse mythology.

During the Viking expansion into Anglo-Saxon England in the 9th century, the shield was made available to the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relived her memories in 2020.^[1]
