The Dyeing Factory was a facility in the Shari' sub-district of Harbiyah, Baghdad, in the 9th century.
History
In the 860s, the newly inducted Alamut Hidden One Basim ibn Ishaq investigated the factory after following a clue of Nur's contact with a local merchant. Finding a stall in the factory, Basim entered it and found himself reunited with his old friend and employer Dervis. After catching up, Dervis revealed that he was secretly helping Ali ibn Muhammad's rebellion against the Abbasid Caliphate, and informed Basim that Ali had been captured and had last been seen at the Khurasan Gate Guardhouse.[1]
After some time, Basim visited Dervis again, and the merchant asked him to steal rarities from a select group of Baghdad's citizens to fund Ali's rebellion. When Basim returned with all the artifacts, Dervis rewarded him with the Treasure Hunter Costume.[2]
