Where are the paintings?

Father Bertwald was an Anglo-Saxon abbot of the Isle of Ely Monastery in East Anglia around 870.

As the head of the monastery alongside abbess Magdalena, Bertwald presided over many of the religious ceremonies and prayers where the nuns and monks were required to attend. One day, after one of the morning prayers, Bertwald received Brother Ealric, a new monk who carried the sick Brother Oswine to the infirmary to seek aid. When Ealric asked about Oswine's symptoms, Bertwald admitted he was not familiar with his ailments and directed Ealric to the scriptorium where he may find what he needed, or to seek Sister Winifred for aid. Once Ealric returned with the ingredients needed for the remedy, Bertwald guided him on the proper steps to carefully brew the medicine, which the monk was successfully able to do so.[1]
