Beonton was Halfdan Ragnarsson's pet dog.
Biography
In 876, Beonton aided his owner and Eivor Varinsdottir the Viking in confirming Halfdan's suspicions about traitors in his ranks. After finding his scout Olav dead, Halfdan had Beonton follow the murderers' scents. Arriving at the Petuaria Ruins, Beonton led Eivor and Halfdan to investigate and find Ulf and his men, who had gathered riches for themselves.
