"My father was an Assassin. Quite good at his job, too, as I understand it."
―Benjamin Tallmadge Jr describing his father, 1763.[src]-[m]

Benjamin Tallmadge, Sr. (1725 – 1786) was a priest from Connecticut, and a member of the Colonial Brotherhood of Assassins.

Tallmadge narrowly survived the Templar purge of the Colonial Brotherhood in 1763, only to lose his wife five years later. During the American Revolutionary War, his son Benjamin Tallmadge, Jr. organized the spy network known as the Culper Ring, and helped the Assassins foil a Templar plot against George Washington in 1776.[1]
