The Antigonus Shield was a shield in ancient Egypt of the 1st century BCE. Designed by the Makedonian general Antigonus I who served Alexander the Great, the shield eventually ended up in the hands of the Medjay Bayek of Siwa, who found copies of it in blacksmiths' inventories, as well as on the bodies and in locked chests throughout his journeys.[1]
