Benjamin Church (August 24, 1734 – 1778) was a member of the Templar Order and a surgeon for the Continental Army.
When Haytham Kenway arrived to America, Benjamen was one of the targets that needed to be tracked. Haytham and Charles Lee found him being tortured and interrogated by Silas Thatcher and some Redcoats. After being inducted into the order, he shot and killed Silas during the assault on Silas' fort in 1754.
At some point, he betrayed the Templar Order, prompting his former friend Haytham to temporarily join his son Ratonhnhake:ton's hunt to bring him to justice. In 1778, he was tracked down in Martinique and executed by Ratonhnhake:ton, after being beaten briefly by Haytham.
