This article is about the Ottoman Assassin. You may be looking for the thief.

Kasim was a Master Assassin of the Ottoman Brotherhood of Assassins, and a lieutenant under their leader Yusuf Tazim.

Biography[edit | edit source]

In 1511, Kasim was one of the Assassins who first greeted Ezio Auditore da Firenze, Mentor of the Italian Assassins, upon his arrival at the Galata headquarters.[1] He later warned Ezio and Yusuf of an impending Byzantine Templar attack on the Assassin Dens located in the Galata District and the Grand Bazaar.[2]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The name Kasim is derived from the Arabic word قسم (qasama), meaning "to divide, to distribute, to issue, to share".
