Santa Trinita was a church in central Florence, located near the Palazzo Auditore, during the turn of the 16th Century.
The church possessed a tall bell tower, and was fronted by a large piazza frequented by both Doctors and Courtesans. It also served as the chapel for the influential Auditore family, who were based nearby. In 1476, the church was climbed by both Federico and Ezio Auditore da Firenze, who were racing each other at the time. Santa Trinita means Holy Trinity in Italian.
