| This article is about an Egyptian worker from Letopolis in the 1st century BCE. You may be looking for Baba, the Egyptian detification of the hamadryas baboon. |

Baba was an Egyptian worker employed under Nito in Letopolis during the reign of Ptolemy XIII.
Biography
In 48 BCE, Baba, alongside his fellow worker Ipuy, were tasked by Nito to dig a well next to the Temple of Horus. Halfway through the digging, they discovered a tunnel and while travelling through, the tunnel collapsed, injuring Ipuy in the process. Baba, on the other hand, managed to escape through the other exit of the tunnel unscathed, where he discovered the remains of an old library underneath the temple complex.
Fearing for Baba's and Ipuy's safety, another worker of Ipuy enlisted the help of the Medjay, Bayek, to travel into the tunnels to locate him. Bayek was able to bring Ipuy to safety and eliminate various snakes before travelling deeper into the library, thus ensuring Baba's safety.
