The Abbazia di San Mercuriale was the main religious structure in Forlì. It was located on the central square, near the Palazzo Comunale.

After speaking with one of the monks of the abbey, Ezio Auditore da Firenze was able to learn the identity of the nine-fingered monk who had stolen the Apple of Eden.
