*Original combat animations reflective of wushu, not just recycled from ''Odyssey'' and ''Valhalla''
*Using ''Valhalla'' quest system instead of ''Odyssey''
*Having the bow as a type of primary weapon with auto-target shooting and kiting was an excellent idea to adapt archery to mobile controls. Also extremely fun to play.
*Combat system is okay for the most part and not clunky, using the same system established in the old Gameloft iOS games and also that was similarly used in ''Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed'' and other Asian mobile games (never played ''Genshin Impact'' but friends also tell me gameplay is very similar).
*From what I can tell so far, the architecture is historically accurate for this time period. Also accurate are the signs which read from right to left.

*Dodging is awkward because it always looks like the player character is straddling or limping away from the enemy in flight. Rather than strafing, the character breaks lock and view of enemy.
*Hope that there will be an option to turn off fight damage numbers
*Please hire bilingual native Chinese speakers as voice actors, just like how Greek speakers were used in ''Odyssey'' and Scandinavians for ''Valhalla'' and how Arabs are doing voice work for ''Mirage''. Most names are mispronounced. Popular media, including history YouTube channels and devs for games like ''Dynasty Warriors'' and ''Total War: Three Kingdoms'' never make the bare minimum effort to check online pinyin charts or Chinese dictionaries—literally a Google search away—under the presumption that "Chinese will be too hard" and end up messing up names that are totally, easily pronounceable for English speakers. Interestingly, the voice actress for the female protagonist has pretty good Mandarin pronunciation despite her American English accent.
**Btw, is that Mandarin I hear the Xiongnu warriors barking? Why are the Xiongnu speaking Mandarin but not the Chinese soldiers??? ;-; (maybe I'm wrong, will double-check)
*''Youxia'' is a general noun, not a proper noun. It should not be capitalized just like you wouldn't capitalize ''ninja'' or ''samurai'' everywhere.
*The body figure of the female protagonist looks like the same as the male character model when she is wearing the youxia outfit.
*Consider making zipline usable by free-running onto it like in the mainline games, rather than requiring a separate button. This has tripped up a lot of players of both the alpha and beta.
*The atmosphere and tone is too vibrant and colourful to fit the Qin dynasty setting imho. The Qin was a proto-totalitarian, dystopian state. A more realistic and gritty tone would be more suitable, but I also understand the tone choice was likely informed by the desire to be more appealing to the target audience, esp. the East Asian market. Overall, it would not have been my preference, but it's also acceptable.
