Glyph One: In The Beginning

Hello this is err, they call me Subject Sixteen. Listen I don't have much time there's something I have to show you. We have been lied to this whole time. Everything we know, everything we've been brought up to believe, it's wrong. OK umm I've uploaded the evidence, the file that proves it all, but I've split it into twenty pieces, and locked each with a code. Can't be too careful. Queen Isabella, no not her, uh, what century is it? Never mind I've hidden the code to the first file inside this program. Find it, find them all, and along the way you'll begin to see the truth.

Puzzles

  • 1st: Five of these mythic scenes share a core personality. Pick them out and you'll begin to see.
  • Passcode: 24568

Meaning

Core refers to the core of an apple as pick refers to picking an apple which is reminiscent of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Puzzles of the apples begin here as "The Apple" is one piece of Eden.

Glyph Two: Sixty-Four Squares

The past, a vast web of connections, and interconnections all ruled by chance or is it?

Puzzles

Glyph Three: Descendants

Power doesn't die, it's passed on.

  • 2nd: Houdini beginning the Chinese water torture cell escape, 1913.
  • 3rd: Gandhi during the salt march, 1930.
  • Passcode: 14523

Glyph Four: Infinite Knowledge

It's getting easier, and easier to hack into Abstergo's mainframe. It's like I know what data I'm looking for. I've already lived it.

Puzzles

  • 1st: Burning Viet Cong Base Camp, My Tho, Vietnam, 1968.
  • 2nd: Members of the 2D infantry division advance under machine gun fire into the outskirts of Brest, France, 1944.

Glyph Five: Instruments of Power

Do you see what's going on? Not yet, but you will.

Puzzles

  • 1st: The power they wielded cut down their enemies.
  • 2nd: In their hands, the wise lean on a great force.
  • Passcode: 81492

Meaning

Cut refers to a cutting with a sword. In the puzzle it is the Sword of Eden. Lean refers to the Staff of Eden.

Glyph Six: Brothers

They were mostly heroes. See how the lib just disrupted it? The web of history traps the good, and the evil take what is not there's.

Puzzles

  • All puzzles are snap puzzles of Cain and Abel. In each one Cain is killing Abel, and taking the Apple of Eden from him.
  • Passcode: 52931

Meaning

The paintings show that Cain was the first Templar, having committed the first murder. Subject 16's quote "Behold, the mark of Cain!" also symbolizes this.

Glyph Seven: Keep on Seeking, And You Shall Find

Puzzles

  • 1st: First plucked from a tree guarded by a snake, it's powers perform miracles. Then, worn across the ages, torn asunder, hidden under a sea of red, reconstruct the timeline.

Similar to Puzzle 1, the apple was plucked from the Tree of Knowledge in the Garden of Eden. Jesus Christ was crucified for being in possession of the shroud, and it was taken by the Roman government.
