Escape from Slavery
Appointed governor of Louisiana in 1766, de Ulloa faced opposition and challenge from the French colonists of New Orleans, who refused to recognize the policies and laws of the Spanish occupation within the city. Following strict trade restrictions put in place to benefit the Templars, a rebellion flared up in 1768 from French Creoles who opposed de Ulloa's regime.

Upon arriving in the bayou, Aveline and George met with her smuggler allies Élise Lafleur and Roussillon, who were in the process of delivering supplies to American patriots.

Following this, he was forced to leave la Balize where he had taken shelter from the rebels and ambushed by the Assassin Aveline de Grandpré. Despite being ordered to kill de Ulloa, Aveline chose to spare his life, in return for a lens used to decipher coded Templar documents and de Ulloa's promise to go into exile.
However, they were facing opposition from Spanish soldiers under the command of a Templar named Vásquez, but Aveline and the smugglers managed to hold them back as they escorted George and the supplies through the bayou. After successfully reaching their destination, Aveline asked whether the patriots would allow George to accompany them to the North. They agreed, accepting him into the Patriot cause.

During the 1770s, Vásquez began bribing Spanish soldiers in an attempt to seize control of smuggling operations within the Louisiana bayou. However, this plan was foiled by the Assassin Aveline de Grandpré, who used to power voodoo to scare Vásquez's soldiers into believing they were cursed and fled the bayou.

Biography

Escape from Slavery

In the 1770's, George managed to escape slavery with the aid of the Assassin Aveline de Grandpré and her stepmother Madeleine de L'Isle. Aveline helped George leave the city of New Orleans unharmed and found safe passage for him through the Louisiana Bayou. Upon arriving in the bayou, Aveline and George met with her smuggler allies Élise Lafleur and Roussillon, who were in the process of delivering supplies to American patriots.

Death

In 1777, Aveline was sent to New York to meet the Native American Asssassin, Connor, in order to track down a Loyalist soldier called Officer Davidson, who was working for the "Company Man", the head Templar of Louisiana. Aveline infiltrated a fort located within the New York frontier and confronted Officer Davidson, who she shockingly discovered to be George. After a heated battle, George attempted to escape, but his carriage was shot down by Aveline.

Aveline questioned George as to the identity of the Company Man, and in his dying breath, he told her that "the answer has been in her own backyard all along", prompting the Assassin to understand that the Company Man was her own stepmother, Madeleine de L'Isle.
