::It actually makes sense for their to be more than one Staff. As we know, the Staff and the Apple can fit together to form a single, more powerful device; there are at least five apples… Also, Nicholas II was Tsar from 1894 up until his death in 1917; however, having looked over the glyphs again, I noticed that the PoE destroyed by Tesla was one of the Apples, and not the Staff. This suggests that there was only one staff, which means that the Staff underwent cosmetic changes between it being owned by the Popes, and it passing into the hands of the Tsars. We know the staff how the Staff looked at the time Orelov got his hands on it, so I think it's likel;y that Nicholas II got the Staff back, and attempted to disguise it somewhat. --<span style="color:#BF404D">Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record</span> 11:58, October 22, 2010 (UTC) | |||
Revision as of 13:58, 22 October 2010
I think that there had to be multiple Staffs, like that there were multiple Apples. Look at these two pictures:
-
The Staff used by popes.
-
The Staff used by tsars.
See the difference between the two? -- Master Sima Yi 05:33, October 21, 2010 (UTC)
- Yes but are you sure that is the Staff they are looking for? I mean we did see the Staff from ACII and Brotherhood also on the comic covers. --Altaïr 09:53, October 21, 2010 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, that's right. But yes, that is the Staff. It's the same Staff that is seen wielded by Nicholas II of Russia in the Glyphs. Maybe it can change shape or something. -- Master Sima Yi 12:57, October 21, 2010 (UTC)
maybe it's just something the artists of the comic forgot to have a look at. Rossko 12:59, October 21, 2010 (UTC)
- I don't think the artists would make such a big mistake. And again, in the Glyph sequences, the Staff also appears like that in Tsar Nicholas II's picture. -- Master Sima Yi 13:00, October 21, 2010 (UTC)
i suppose the staff tranforming could work. Maybe it alters it's appearance to suit the time period.
forgot sig. --Rossko 13:02, October 21, 2010 (UTC)
- I doubt that. It is more likely that the "staff" is in actuality, just the long, straight part; over time it was decorated in a variety of different ways to make them all look distinct. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 13:14, October 21, 2010 (UTC)
- But how come it looks like that in the picture with Tsar Alexander III, then it looks like its AC II look again on the cover of AC: The Fall's second issue? -- Master Sima Yi 13:15, October 21, 2010 (UTC)
Exactly what I was thinking. --Rossko 13:17, October 21, 2010 (UTC)
woo 22,000th edit!
Like I said, I don't think that is the staff... I think they got the wrong one there in that second picture. -- Altaïr 15:20, October 21, 2010 (UTC)
- It is the Staff. Remember the Glyph in which you had to search for the Staff in the picture of Tsar Nicholas II? That was this one:
- That's the same Staff that Tsar Alexander III is holding in the picture on top of the page. -- Master Sima Yi 15:35, October 21, 2010 (UTC)
- The staff is something created, not a magical piece of equipment found in a meteor. There could be hundreds of them. So if we see a different staff, we assume it's a new one, not the old one transformed by alchemy or something. -- D. Cello 16:07, October 21, 2010 (UTC)
- If we're going to go with there being more than one Staff, then this article needs to indicate it was destroyed by Tesla (as per ACII glyphs), and a new one needs to be created for the second staff. Although personally, I'm still of the opinion they are one and the same. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 17:38, October 21, 2010 (UTC)
