Mirages? or Hallucinations?

Quite a number of "mirages" in the game can't possibly be mirages because mirages are projections of real objects from a distance. Instead, Bayek experiences all kinds of visions under the heat of the desert; some which direct him to an important location and others which seem to be phantasms of the past. Scientifically speaking, these can't be mirages although it seems plausible that the developers had indeed meant for them to be stand-in as "mirages". What shall we do about this? I suppose we will have to create a separate article for the hallucinations, but I haven't played enough of the game and experienced enough of these "mirages" to be able to have a clear idea about it just yet. In the Memory Corridor loading screen one of the little blurbs is titled Desert Visions. That’s probably the closest to canon name for the phenomenon. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 08:27, March 8, 2018 (UTC)
Great catch Lacrossedeamon! I'm trying to see if the Official Guide provides any official gameplay term, but I can't seem to find any. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 00:32, March 9, 2018 (UTC)

You are trying in vain Sol. There's nothing there about the Mirages.Cristophorus35 (talk) 06:05, March 9, 2018 (UTC)
