Élise was a smuggler operating in the Louisianan Bayou, who came into contact with the Assassin Aveline de Grandpré from at least 1765.
During this time, she provided a canoe for Aveline to use, so that the Assassin could navigate her way through the marshy region and take out a contingent of Mackandal's men.
