Biography
As a child, Æthelflæd was admired by the boy Esobert, who decided to prove his love to Æthelflæd by climbing a tower to retrieve a flower. With assistance from the passing Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, Esobert retrieved the flower and gave it to the princess as she went for a walk with her mother.
