Wenis (died 48 BCE) was an Egyptian woman who lived in Sapi-Res Nome during the 1st century BCE.
At some point during 48 BCE, Wenis and her son were smuggled out of Sais by Jeska, in order to keep them safe from "cowards like the Scarab and Sefetu.[1]
However, Sefetu's men attacked Jeska's own village, Mefkat, where she'd hidden all the people she'd smuggled out. Almost all the people within were either killed by the blades of Sefetu's men, or the fires they'd set. [1]
